All the materials come supplied with a compostable adhesive that is approved as compostable to EN13432 standards.
Digital printing technology has improved massively over the years and we are now able to match to over 3000 Pantone references using the latest HP technology. Digital print is ideal for short production runs or for products where there are multiple designs over the same size label.
We are able to add value to our digital labels by offering: Gloss, matt or spot varnishes. Gold or silver foiling and debossing/embossing.
The are also no origination costs with digital printing.
We are now able to supply digitally printed compostable self-adhesive labels and adhesive. Not only are we able to offer standard Clear, Gloss, Matt, Thermal and Silver materials, we can offer a compostable label and adhesive alternative to each.

What Options?
Bagasse
For every 10 tonnes of sugercane crushed, a sugar factory produces nearly three tonnes of wet bagasse. Bagasse is commonly used as a substitute for wood. It produces pulp with physical properties that are well suited for generic printing and writing papers as well as tissue products but it is also widely used for boxes and newspaper production.
Elephant Grass
It is a perennial grass with bamboo-like stems that can grow to heights of more than 4 metres. Its ability to grow on marginal land, its water efficiency, non-invasiveness, low fertilizer needs, significant carbon sequestration and high yield have sparked a lot of interest among researchers. Materials produced from Elephant Grass include fiberboards, composite miscanthus/wood particleboards, and blocks. It can be used as raw material for pulp and fibers as well as molded products such as eco-firendly disposable plates, cups, cartons, etc.
Both are farmed for different reasons but the pulp created is used to create paper for packaging.
