APPROVAL Direct Food Contact [Dry Foods] and WVTR [Water Vapour Transfer Rate] NOW in production.

After extensive testing in 2021 our Polywood Grade Plastic and Natural Fibre Content [NFC’s] blended sustainable bottles and containers were approved for direct food contact and achieved a ‘very good barrier to moisture” from a leading UK materials testing laboratory.

Our Polywood S 1-litre bottles was tested against a standard HDPE market product for a leading protein powder meal replacement brand. Our product passed for direct dry food contact and for barrier proerties for the Water Vapour Transfer rate.

Polywood S is our standard Polywood blend and for more specialist applications we have available our Polywood A. Polywood A is a antiseptic property blend, it is achieved by blending natural parts of wood fibres that have these properties naturally. So far we have used Polywood A in the making of babies teething rings in multiple colours.
